My thoughts for Splintered Fate beta tests of new enemies and mini bosses.

Bonnie and Clyde are my favorite so far, their dynamic is pretty fun. An insufferable couple is a fun choice for a mini boss, especially when you defeat one of them and the other immediately gains an insane buff.

So cool to see how in love they are and we do get some references to more lore. Cuz I really doubt that the "Clyde, would you love me if I was a worm?" and he anwsering "babe, I will love you no matter what you are, worm, frog, turtle" dialogue was for nothing

Currently workshopping my Venus design. I really like where she’s going so far!

So Venus lore:

Venus was born as Bonnie. When she was about five years old, she was kidnapped by Sachs co for chemical V experimentation. Due to her unknown powers, she was the only one to survive the experimentation. Among the people that did not survive was her father.

After a lot of conditioning, Bonnie completely forgets who’s he was before and refers to the main scientist, Marissa Valentine, as her mom.

By the time that Bonnie, now V, is ten, her body starts to slowly decompose while she’s alive, due to the incomplete mutation she went through at the age of five. To combat her quickly deteriating body, she is “frankensteined” together with that of a recently deceased turtle mutant, making her half common frog and half Diamond back terrapin turtle. As you can probably guess, this is incredibly painful.
