The Brainy Blue Buisness Boy. Lexicanium Alejandro Roaque. Now that this boy is done, I think I might step away from 40k for a bit. There are other minis that require my attention.

Not even the iron will of the Astartes are immune to the murmurs of the Warp, and Roaque is no exception. Known for shutting himself in his sanctum with the Chapter Histories, Roaque usually pours over documents over and over again, speaking dates and phrases aloud and committing names to memory, every fact and concrete piece of information another brick in the mental wall he must perpetually maintain between himself and the roiling influence of Chaos.

Brisque and forceful, Lexicanium Roaque is famous for knowing the name of every battle brother, serf and attendant in his company, past and present.

And the Blue Blasty Business Boys. 

The Fifth Heavy Assault, Plasma troopers trained to work with First Recon to locate and obliterate high-value targets before they make contact with the defensive line. Led by Veteran Sergeant Espinosa.

I’ve heard horror stories about these plastic stands, but so far I haven’t had a huge problem (Albeit after plenty of green stuff and super glue). I suppose only time will tell.

Behold, my Blue Business Boys. All through May and a chunk of June, I was involved in a speed-painting competition that I unfortunately had to duck out of for a trip. So behold the finished product of my efforts.

This is the standard First Recon of my Crimson Fist army. Led by Sergeant  Juarez, Intercessors who show an aptitude for range-finding are put into First Recon.

The Blue Business Bot. Real talk, I had a ton of fun splattering grime and mud all over the grieves of these minis. I figured that if any chapter is used to slogging through the muck for days on end, it would be the Crimson Fists.

And no one is grimier than Dreadnought Brother Pancho Salazar. Former member of the third squad and now heavy point man. From the looks of things, he’s been putting that Redemptor Fist to good use.

Finished up some speedy Immortals last night. Kitted them out with Tesla Carbines, because apparently the point of list building is to roll as many dice as possible.

Finished up some Deathmarks from my latest box o’ Necrons. Eager to include them into a Vanguard detachment that I’m assembling.

My local GW is hosting a Christmas party next week, complete with a special rules snowball fight between single models. @jakey-beefed-it inspired me to mod up one of my Crons with some slightly more seasonal armaments. How could I not give him a Snowball of Resurrection? Lord Nho-hel has arrived, here to  r̶e̶b̶u̶i̶l̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶e̶t̶e̶r̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶e̶m̶p̶i̶r̶e̶  spread holiday cheer.
