Yep, I’m painting Space Marines now.

This bad boy is Captain Emmanuel Vijalobos, sort of a proof-of-concept for the rest of my Crimson Fists. The little bits and bobs of visual flair I added will probably show up on future members of the army I’m working on.

Turns out Space Marines are ridiculously fun to paint and I had an absolute blast with this boyo. I’m particularly proud of the gradient on his cape, and the grime caking his boots and cloak.

My local GW is hosting a Christmas party next week, complete with a special rules snowball fight between single models. @jakey-beefed-it inspired me to mod up one of my Crons with some slightly more seasonal armaments. How could I not give him a Snowball of Resurrection? Lord Nho-hel has arrived, here to  r̶e̶b̶u̶i̶l̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶e̶t̶e̶r̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶e̶m̶p̶i̶r̶e̶  spread holiday cheer.

Picked up this bad boy at GW’s 500 store celebration. Can’t wait to sink my teeth into the first of many....

Finally finished the base layer on my Skitarii. All those little John Carter details and wires were a real fizzbitch. Can’t wait to see them shaded.
