The year is 2025 - The Magnus Institute and the Office of Incident Assessment and Response (OIAR) are working together to go through the strange and supernatural of the world. The Magnus Institute receives statements from live subjects, while the OIAR are given emails and other forms of Internet media to go through. For years, everything seems to be going smoothly… until something starts to bleed through.

It starts with rumors - an undercover operation at the Magnus Institute, something sinister involving children. Samama Khalid remembers all too well being a part of the Magnus Institute's "gifted children" program, but cannot remember many of the details… as if some of it had been scrubbed away. Meanwhile, those at the Magnus Institute and its surrounding area start to have horrible nightmares - vivid dreams of another universe that feel all too real.

Another world is starting to seep into this one… can the group figure out what's going on, before it's too late?

I did start doing more digital work this year, beginning with my own original characters for an RP server I help run. This was the most time-consuming, but also the most fun. Ailbhe, a banshee that built herself up as a renown apothecary from within the confines of her own prison. She likes turning people into toads and scaring small children with this glamour. The background is definitely over-simplified and the line work is a bit thick in places... but I haven’t done this much digital painting in... over... ten... years *sheepish grin*. So, I’ve gotta give myself credit for pushing my own limits this far with this piece. The next time I draw the banshee, I’ll remember to be more patient.
