the “first crime scene with bee” is such a maaterclass in writing different types of english accents, like somehow odamaki manages to 100% capture lestrade john sherlock and wiggins specific intonations and pitch, with actual very little dialogue from any of them. like its sparse but immpeccable. i love this book.
