WWE UK TALENT NEWS - It was reported yesterday that some of WWE’s UK contracted talents have been pulled from upcoming indy events due to their WWE contracts as part of the UK Championship tournament. According to PWinsider, WWE UK talents Pete Dunne, Mark Andrews and Trent Seven were due to appear at a live, “Working a Resthold” podcast Q&A ahead of a WXW show in London next week, but have now been removed.The site also adds that talents cannot appear on events that would be posted online on services such as Vimeo and that in some cases they are being moved to dark matches for promotions or being finished up altogether as some promoters don’t want to have their hands tied, due to WWE’s restrictions.

JIMMY SNUKA UPDATES - As all of you may know by now, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka passed away this week. The other day, WWE Network added a Jimmy Snuka Collection. While the collection is happening, according to wrestlinginc.com, WWE has not added Jimmy Snuka back in the Hall of Fame section of their website. Snuka was removed from the section in September of 2015 after he was charged with involuntary manslaughter and third-degree murder for the 1983 death of Nancy Argentino.

IMPACT ON POP RESULTS - In “The Race For the Case” Eli Drake, Trevor Lee, The DCC and Jeff Hardy got cases. Brooke defeated Deonna Purrazzo. Aron Rex and Rockstar Spud defeated Robbie E and Swoggle. Drew Galloway defeated Moose in the third round to win the TNA Impact Grand Championship.

OTHER UK TOURNAMENT COMPETITORS UPDATE - Four members of the WWE UK Championship tournament are set for PROGRESS Wrestling’s US debut. The promotion announced that UK Champion Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne, Mark Andrews and Trent Seven are the first names announced for the show, which takes place on March 31st at noon over WrestleMania Weekend as part of the WWN Live Experience.Currently the show is being advertised simply as a live event and not an iPPV. WWE has been blocking contracted talent from appearing on events that will be streamed FloSports, which is WWN Live’s streaming platform of choice, so it is likely this will remain off that show if they’ve just been announced.
