The "Columbia Public Mural Project" Side No. 1 was completed over the weekend. A wide angle shot of the fire mural shows a series of imagines that represent and commemorates 150 years of fire service by the Columbia Fire Department, Tennessee. In addition to the mural, the city is currently developing plans for Firefighters Park to be located behind the mural, a key elements in the city plans to celebrate the 2018 Fire Department's 150 Year Sequential. Marking the South Garden Street gateway to the #ColumbiaArtsDistrict, the second side of the wall facing the intersection of Garden Street and Carmack Boulevard will be completed soon.
