Happy Tiger & Bunny Day!
So, I made a drawing and included a little fun story behind it.
Barnaby invites Kotetsu over to his apartment. Barnaby leaves Kotetsu with his *in-home jungle* for a moment.
When Barnaby returns, he finds all of his plants moved and bunched up to a small corner, and Kotetsu is nowhere to be found.
Barnaby: “What the-!? Kotetsu, what did you do?” Looks around. “Kotetsu? Kotetsu, where are you?”
Kotetsu: “Shush, I’m blending in.”
Barnaby: “What?” Continues to search.
Kotetsu: “I’m...blending...in...”
Barnaby sees his plants’ leaves moving. An annoyed huff leaves his nose. He walks toward the pile of houseplants.
Barnaby: “Why are you hiding behind my plants?”
Kotetsu: “Well...I’m a tiger! Tigers like to hide in jungles so that they can pounce on their prey... Also, I’m green, so hiding is better with the extra camouflage...you know.”
Barnaby: “Wha-? Are you a feckin’ 10 year old? Why do you want to hide?”
Kotetsu: “So I can pounce you, duh. You’re my little Bunny, remember?”
Barnaby rolls his eyes before getting close to the shrubs.
Barnaby: “I hate to disappoint your fun, but how can you pounce me when I know where you are?”
Kotetsu: “You...ah...good point.” Sounding distraught, Kotetsu pokes his head out of the foliage, giving Barnaby his sad eyes for the ruined surprise. “Can I at least catch you in a hug?”
Barnaby: “...Fine. But you’re putting all my plants back to the way they were.”
Kotetsu pushes his way out of the tangles leaves and brings Barnaby in a big hug. Barnaby takes it all in, wondering how he manage to catch the eyes of this old, humble tiger.
The End!
