Crypto watched the other, a small hint of amusement shimmering in his eyes before he returned to his display hovering in front of him, tapping away with ease.

“I am sure it is perhaps the best disguise you have, Doctor Nox.” he hummed, tapping his temple and nodded to the man, his body showing nothing of his thoughts whilst he moved towards his room. “Nothing is truly hidden.” he added idly, an ominous phrase, not a threat, simply a promise.

Crypto stepped onto the drop ship, looking at the people around him. It was a weird feeling to be hiding in plain site but it would do. He had his own ‘room’ to do what he needed to do and he was fairly sure non of them would be able to understand his code even if they did see anything. Looking around he noticed that the only other person in the ship was Caustic, someone he previously would of said was his favorite Legend in the Games. Now he had no room for things like that, only time to find out what these people are hiding.

The word sociopath naturally piqued her curiosity.

                 Though the type was far from foreign to her, really. In her line of work she has met many. Never was there a shortage of scientists who so willingly dabbled in experimenting on human subjects, even revelling in doing some of the dirty work that others might have found morally ambiguous, in the name of science   ─   and from what she’s heard, Alexander Nox was apparently notorious for it.

Pathfinder’s display showed a blatant angry face in response to the man’s words.

He’d taken a liking to most of the legends who participated in the games. Caustic...was another matter though. For the most part, the motivations others had for joining in on this blood sport didn’t matter all that much to him. After all, he had his own goals to focus on.

However, Caustic was just all together, unpleasant. And his motivations were certainly morally questionable, from what he’d gathered. It definitely didn’t help matters when his gas traps did more harm than good for his own team, a member of which had been killed while trying to find their way out of the gas. Although he acknowledged the occasional usefulness of said traps, in this case it had successfully blinded them (excluding Caustic himself) to the whereabouts of the other squad.

“Given the circumstances, I would argue that one is in order, friend.”

     There was a small chuckle, and if listening closely one might notice the slight nervousness hidden deep beneath it. “Someone can’t take sarcasm.” Her brows raise a bit, subconciously taking a step back from him. She knows she can beat him in a fight. He’s bigger, but she’s faster, so she doesn’t let the anxiety of the ideas that were running through her mind about what kind of sick experiments he was thinking of drag her down.

     She wasn’t going to let what caused her to lose her memories before to happen again.

      they wave one large hand in front of them before placing it at their hip -- confident for no real reason, just spouting off at the mouth like they tended to do without thinking it through.

"I could hear you coughing from all the way outside," Bloodhound noted as they lounged on the upper levels of the old, torn up cabins. They shifted the sniper in their hands, using a clean rag to wipe the lenses clear - bored in the downtime of the game.

A careful finger delicately wiped away any disfiguring marks on their chosen sniper, their masked features turned towards Caustic curiously all the while. "Are you going to make it to the end of the match? It seems bad today." Their voice was devoid of any real care - they were merely inquiring out of concern for the outcome of the game, that’s what they told themselves, anyways. Bloth tried not to grow too close to any Legend, it spoiled the fun of the hunt, but sometimes it was impossible to avoid questioning some of them.
