MOTHMANLAND - Remains of an old, abandoned facility in the toxic TNT Area (the McClintic Wildlife Management Area) outside of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. It was near here - on the evening of November 15, 1966 - where the first Mothman encounter took place (the Scarberry/Millette Encounter). Some believe that the polluted swampland in this area was the home - or perhaps even the birthplace - of the Monstrous Mothman. Sightings of the bizarre flying creature would continue for the next 13 months, ending with the tragic collapse of Point Pleasant's Silver Bridge.
