How I would view Supernatural characters in terms of dating:

Dean: Biker dude. Good for a fun weekend.

Sam: Adorable guy you always want to date but you know he is a little weird so you don't try very hard.

Garth: Weird, but so adorable and kind hearted you want to keep him.

Young John: Family man who has should check up on the people he dates. Seriously. It becomes a family trait of not knowing the background of the people they date.

Bobby: Cranky old drunk, but visibly loves his adopted kids, despite the fact they tend to be total morons.
