Noumena’s extremes
Small Animal is sort of dirty, uncomfortable, and difficult to help. A gross sort of vulnerability. She clings to anything she has, violently cowering. She has trouble speaking through her tight breathing and soft cries. Her needs and desires are hard to discern even to herself, they seem to shift and contradict one another constantly. Small Animal will do things she doesn’t even want to do, so she sequesters herself to save whatever pride she has left.
She emerges under acute emotional stress in Guesswork’s purview, offering no help when active but forcing Noumena to take stock of her points of failure after the fact.
Powerfantasy is impossible to reason with until she crashes. She is unusually generous and imprudent, almost always losing her money on a risky investment or ostentatious gift. Her calculative prediction, though technically sound, quickly exceeds reality under practice. Her confidence, expressed by her glow, literally blinds her from incoming disaster. Powerfantasy’s unshakable relaxation and surety are punctuated by claims of personal promise and vision. Though she seeks to be heard, she is entirely unrelatable and so calm as to be frustrating.
Powerfantasy emerges if Axiom has too much time to herself and has no scope limit set in place for the projects she can start. Once active, she is highly imaginative and contributes massively to any problem (and non-problem) Noumena had before. Of these only a few ideas are actually feasible, the level of executed progress on any single plan varies. Most are embarrassedly cut short for being dead ends.
Noumena does not phase into her extremes often. When she does, the duration of either ranges from moments to over a week.
