vampire idea for vampire lore: physical attacks don't hurt them bc they're magically re-animated corpses, ofc. HOWEVER! their flesh can't heal, only the magic can, and its a force within their body, rather an integrated process. so when they're injured, the magic covers the wound, resulting in a cool, water-like magic sheath over the open wound. sens post
