カーボネーション強め、トロピカル！瑞々しくほとばしるアロマとやんわりとした苦味。ほんのりフローラルなニュアンス。ラガー なので、特別に酵母は違うのでしょうか？！To Øl らしさが香る！CitraとMosaicでドライホッピングを3回施したRaid Beer。ABV5.9 de Proef.

                                                       To Øl’s My Pils

To Øl has been doing some great things to beer (and label art) lately. I was instantly attracted to this simple, natural wood grain label that covers the entire can with very little branding. It’s gorgeous!  Let’s take a look at how you can paint this at home:

Nails:

Step 1- 

Use an off-white/cream opaque nail polish for this first step (I used Color Club here) and paint on one thick coat.

Step 2-

You’re going to want to paint your nails one at a time as you need to complete this step immediately after you’ve painted the first coat on a nail. Paint on a thin layer of a transparent cream nail polish (I used Sally Hansen’s Innocent Nude). Push the brush down a bit to move the paint from the first step around and add some brush strokes/texture. This isn’t meant to be perfect, so each nail should look slightly different!

Step 3-

This wood grain is very light in color with a peach tint. To recreate the grain I mixed together light peach and mustard yellow acrylic paints. Using a thin, angled brush I painted on the grain pattern differently on each nail. These lines are not meant to be perfect so you can be a bit more loose with these.

Tada! I think these turned out really well. They definitely look cooler with the muse in my hand, though!

Beer:

I was so shocked at how much I love this beer. I am not of fan of pilsners at all but this beer was just absolutely fantastic. Poured a slightly murky yellow with a very foamy head. The nose has such a pleasant, sweet smell to it with slight citrus. It hits you with the taste of sweet hops at first and then finishes with that classic pilsner malt flavor. It’s such a great balance. Overall, the beer is so light and sweet and drinkable. Can’t wait to try this one again!

Tanskalaisen jälkiruuan (eräänlainen vispipuuro kermalla) mukaan nimetty marjaisa olut maistuu vadelmilta, mansikoilta, vaniljalta ja laktoosilta. Hienoinen happamuus taittaa mukavasti makeutta, jälkimaussa karvas kaiku. Kaikenkaikkiaan ihan passeli kiisselin korvike!
