To Slow

We're hitting the lunch rush, but it's time for me to go. However, one of the people for grill (where I was in) was still cleaning the breakfast grill.

He was not a new person. He's been around long enough that he should know what he's doing.

Seeing the screens filling up, and knowing that my manager in grill had one newer person who just really knew grill (and as a side note, big kudos to that guy, he might have been new, but the only thing we ended up waiting on for grill was grilled chicken, and that was because we went through all of it in like five minutes and it's a bitch to get back up), and someone else who only knew grill (he ended up handling back wall mostly, and grabbing some stock), I asked my manager if they wanted me to stay until my coworker finished getting the breakfast grill cleaned.

It was a job that should have only taken maybe five minutes. Ten at the most, so my manager thanked me and said they'd appreciate it.

...It took them 35 minutes. They weren't also handling grill. They weren't also making sandwiches. The only thing they had to do was finish cleaning up the breakfast grill.

Needless to say, the manager and I were pretty pissed off at him when he finally finished and I went home.

How can christy schedule Tom to open at 8 and me to come at noon, that's 4 hours of time lost preping since Tom moves so freakishly slow and doesn't get one damn thing done!!!
