there's only one you 2026 - athletes of color round up

following @talahui's chromatic characters prompt spreadsheet, my friends @hermeneut1c, @based--ball, @macktism, @planetquest and i have put together a round up of all fanworks featuring athletes of color in the @theresonly1u collection this year!

there were 82 unique fanworks featuring athletes of color out of the 467 total fills for to1u, which means that athletes of color made up 17.5% of the total to1u fills! because the list is so long, i'm keeping it as a google doc (11 pages long!!)

please let us know if there's anything we need to add/edit!

Prompts are open for There's Only 1 U until March 13. in the spirit of the chromatic yuletide collection, I've started putting together a spreadsheet with to1u prompts that include characters of color. I am not familiar with all the fandoms/athletes, so currently, hockey and basketball prompts are included and will continue to be updated, and based--ball graciously has added the baseball prompts.
