i went to hot topic today to relive my youth and was hella disappointed bc they didnt have sizes above a 7. like wtf?? i remember when i was a size 16-18 i was able to find some pants n shorts there. not a lot but i was still able to put together at least one full outfit. i used to buy a lotta cute dresses from there too.

today i literally only bought one shirt (a blink-182 shirt for anyone curious) n i wanted a long sleeve nirvana shirt but couldn't reach n i didnt wanna ask for help bc i was so upset n disappointed that i couldn't get all of the things i found cute i jus bought my one fave item n left.

this is why my wardrobe is mostly old worn out clothes bc everytime i go to a store i cant find shit in my size. which now i'm a 22-24.

i also went to torrid and their jeans are mad overpriced for not even being made out of denim!!! a fucking pair of jeans off the clearance rack was $50. OFF THE CLEARANCE RACK??? i was so disappointed esp since i looked sooo good in them. but i'm not gonna spend $50 on a pair of jeans thats a fucking spandex, polyester, rayon blend whatever the fuck. im not spending $50 on plastic jeans!!! if they were cotton denim i would have. n they were blue so i would have had to dye them black. (which isnt torrids fault. the fault with torrid is the overpriced plus size clothing made from cheap ass materials. oh and their leggings are still see through)

its so disappointing shopping in this fucking country as a plus size person. and honestly as a midsize person. cuz hot topic i stg only had little ass clothing like for fuckkn tiny ass ppl.

i dont like the "just shop online" argument. its a thought terminating cliche. i dont want to wait AT LEAST 7 business days to receive my items that MAY OR MAY NOT fit me. I want to walk into a store and buy what i need day of. i fucking hate online shopping. i hate the fees, i hate the prices, i hate the wait time. i hate the return process. it is not worth the hassle. and neither is shopping in person.

ughhhh i hate these fucking companies. i hate that they make literal crap out of the cheapest garbage materials on the planet and sell it at high markups as if its a curated boutique piece. i hate that ppl willing give these places their money. i hate that we hardly have a choice. i hate that plus size ppl are always being scammed and punished for being fat. im fucking sick of this.

its jus that i can't automatically reblog ppls art anymore. i dont wanna sit here like a detective n learn ab fucking shading n shadows n light sources n everything that makes art, art jus bc some dumbshits cant jus fucking be bad at something n learn a goddamn skill or fuckin pay an artist to create something for you. it doesnt cost a lot to pay a real life artist to make you some destiel fanart. you get so much outta that interaction, you get custom art, you get the satisfaction of not using ai, you get the satisfaction of not contributing to the decay of our planet, n maybe you get a new friend. i jus keep staring at shit looking for fucking brushstrokes n inconsistencies in lighting n fucking anatomical anomalies im fucking tired of this shit. if youre gonna post art, then fucking post some art. enough wit bringing your ai shit into fandom spaces we dont fucking want that. if we wanted that we could just use the goddamn ai machine ourselves its not fucking hard
