Here’s the thing about sharing an umbrella with someone: it’s far more intimate than people give it credit for. You’re forced into each other’s space. Your shoulders would brush at any given moment. Your steps have to sync; otherwise, you’ll trip over each other or leave the other without an umbrella above their head. You become aware of the little things—the way they breathe, the way they smell, and their warmth next to you. Not that Yamato was experiencing any of that, though.
or, Yamato manages to get Tenn to share an umbrella with him, until the umbrella gets discarded entirely.
i finally finished rewriting one of my other GakuNagi fics (i will always be quietly thinking of you) !! it somehow grew from around 5k to 8k... 8.6k to be exact *smirks. just like the previous fic, i mostly only rewrote the narration and didn't make any changes to the story itself, so rereading isn't a must for those who already read the old version!
i really loved redoing Nagi's narration here LOL... the old version wasn't very catered to his dramatics slash flamboyance slash melancholy, so i did my best to do that here. (which is why it grew like 3k...) now i only have one more fic to rewrite, and it's the monster of a hanahaki fic (nearly 30k... who knows how long that one will end up being once i finish it)
