kind of an old drawing (help one of Tadg's hands is backwards and what on Earth are Barclay's arms doing uhhhh) but I rediscovered this today and I figured since the still living (and somewhat content starved) part of the Wilderlore fandom is on here I should share lol

It's the scene from Weeping Tide where Toadles randomly appears in their room and jumpscares Tadg hehehe

When I actually get the new book (which may be much later RIP) I will probably fixate again and then there will be more...

theyre so silly and full of angst... how could I not? lol

Decided to finally put my giant sketchbook to use! Made some small tweaks to Blaidd's design to simplify it (mostly the crown, it was too complicated before). Also decided to make its hair much more apparent. It's a werewolf after all!

Lighting isn't the best cause, again, this sketchbook is gininomosaurus!

Apparently toads like insects, worms, and spiders (I found this out in an online summer school class lol. I don't pay much attention to toads except Toadles \UwU/). So eh-, anyways. Headcanon. When Tadg is being an angy boi, or just in a bad mood, Toadles will bring him dead worms and spiders as a sign of affection for Tadg to be happy again....or at least less grumpy 😅

*cough* Tadg will in fact not be happy, and instead will be horrified ig, and will actually scream, a very high pitched scream like he did in TNC, and throw the dead insect at Barclay out the window.

Wilderlore theory (Crazy theory)

What if Toadles is the reincarnation of Conley Murdock? First, Toadles bonded with Tadg and not the other way around. Second, Toadles is an undiscovered beast meaning he could be new (Not to mention in TWT paperback page 76 Ulick said that he lived in the Sea his whole life and had not seen a beast like Toadles before shows that Toadles is a new beast). Third, he bonded with Tadg at Conley's house which was also Tadg's. Fourth, he isn't any other beast as he can come out of his mark without being summoned. Fifth, he can feel Tadg's feelings (TES hardcover page 238). Tadg says that he thinks Toadles can read his thoughts and he always leaves his mark when Tadg feels angry or annoyed or something. What do y'all think?
