Support the Trip of a Lifetime Holiday Fundraising Drive!

Not everyone is lucky enough to experience traveling. For those who have, they know what difference it can make in their lives. Traveling is important not only because we get to visit beautiful places and get a taste of different cultures, but because it teaches us to look at the world from a different perspective. During that moment we forget about our lives back home because we try to adjust to the new life we are a part during that moment. In the beginning of our trip, we have no idea how others live, as time goes on we learn to adjust, and at the end of our journey we leave with a different mindset. Trip of a Lifetime is a non-profit organization that provides summer travel experience to deserving students who want to make a difference in their community. We believe everyone should experience the outside world because most of us are on our way to make a difference in the world. Every summer we award students who have shown interest in being leaders, who have a passion for traveling, and who want to make a difference in the world.
For this holiday season we have a goal of raising $5,000. All the money raised is to cover a full scholarship for one of our lucky students. For every donation that is given to us we give the donors something in return as a perk. For every $1 donated the donors will be personally thanked on our Facebook and Twitter account. For every $5, one of our trip alumni will send the donors a personal thank you card. For every $10, donors will receive three Trip of a Lifetime wristbands along with three stickers to show off and also a personal thank you card. For every $25, donors will receive a Trip of a Lifetime T-shirt and a personal thank you card. For every $50 donated, donors will receive a Trip of a Lifetime hoodie with a personal thank you card. For every $100, they’ll receive a holiday gift basket that is personalized by one of our own alumni. The basket will have items such as sweet treats, apparel, accessories, and books. Think Birchbox but for travel. Each gift box will also include a Trip of a Lifetime sweatshirt for those brisk winter days. For every $250, instead of one holiday basket you will get three. For every $2,500 donated, the donors spend an action-packed day in New York City this spring with four Field Level Yankees Tickets (for a mutually agreed upon date), dinner at any EMM Restaurant, and a private tour of the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum. You will also receive a holiday gift basket, two Trip of a Lifetime t-shirts and hoodies, and two sheets of Trip of a Lifetime stickers. And lastly for a donation is $5,000, as a thank you for funding an entire student's scholarship, you will receive every perk above and the opportunity to spend a day in New York City with Trip of a Lifetime's founder, Stan Rosenberg, and students from the trip.
