Limin in Tobago, Sure Riiight
Over Thanksgiving, we g̶a̶t̶e̶ ̶c̶r̶a̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ joined Christy and Leon's getaway trip to Tobago, a magical Caribbean island (sister to Trinidad). We spent several days scuba diving, snorkeling and "liming" (local slang for relaxing and drinking). We split up the stay between Speyside, a quaint village on the Atlantic side of the island, and Castara, a gorgeous little fishing village on the Caribbean side. The diving and snorkeling was amazing, with lovely reef and lots of sea life including turtles, nurse sharks, stingrays, morays, seahorses and countless types of fish. We were blown away by the friendly locals, and enjoyed soaking up some much needed sun before the worst of the winter hits.
