Tobirama glanced up from the scroll he was scribbling on, taking off his glasses. He was silent at her request, watching her thoughtfully for a moment, before taking her wrist, tugging her forward gently and pressing their lips together almost hungrily.

Smoke and Diamonds {closed}

"Clear!" His voice rung out strongly as he kicked down yet another door, making sure there were no children, no animals hiding in any crevices. He was close to the origin of the fire, could feel the heat even through his suit, but he paid it no heed. It wasn't anything too terrible, just another day on the job, another typical fire where someone probably forgot to turn off the stove, and once he and his men had checked every room, they made their way out without anything too serious happening. 

Tobirama gave the okay for the other's to begin the actual fighting of the fire, watching the smoke rise, three great, spiraling pillars in the chilly fall air. Ash drifted through the air like snow, and, as he took his helmet off, it sprinkled in his snowy hair and smeared across his cheek where he wiped the sweat off. He climbed carefully out of his suit, leaving him in the classic firefighter suspenders and a short sleeved, navy blue t-shirt, his red eyes narrowed in on the dwindling fire as he leaned against one of the firetrucks. And that was when something, or rather, someone, caught his eye as they walked towards him. His eyes widened, turning slightly to glance at the girl. Ren...?
