only a little bit lost. / daiki & miyu
Once again Miyu found herself unsure of exactly where she was -- and once again she wasn’t entirely upset about the fact. What she did know was that she was somewhere in Johto -- a beautiful region, and one of her favorites so far. Blanketed with forests and sprinkled here and there with caves, there was plenty to explore, and this presented perfect opportunities to get lost.
She had already set up her small tent in a nice location away from the beaten path. As she roamed about the nearby area picking up dried fallen branches for firewood Hiro, her Cubone and self-appointed bodyguard walked quietly beside her carrying his own bundle of kindling. The pair were walking back to camp when a scene on the side of the road caught their attention.
It seemed that an unfortunate situation had taken place, leaving someone stranded with their vehicle coughing out plumes of dark smoke.
“Hello, do you need help?” Miyu called softly from behind the stranger. She took a look around them; the route they were on could be better described as a trail than an actual road, with steep hills and winding curves. They were miles away from civilization in any direction; in fact it had taken Miyu nearly a full day of hiking to get there. “You could have picked a better place to break down, you know.”
Her dry attempt at humor was probably much more off-putting than comforting, which was what she was actually attempting. Either way it was the thought that counts, right? Maybe not so much for the unfortunate traveler stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
