Magical au ep 1/ chapter 1 First Meeting
Tobi's POV
(Just in case you don't know Tobi is a girl)
Just another day of going to the mortal realm to collect the souls of the guilty and the innocent. The next human I must collect is a man named Tody. He's a father of a single child and has been abusing the child for years ever since his wife divorced.
What a pity. I almost feel bad for the child AND the father. But not really for the father. His life ends here today.
I venture to the house the man lives in but something is not right. I do not sense the man's life force in there. But I do sense another. I step into the house and see the man's body laid limbless on the ground. A person was standing over the body wearing dark hooded clothing that covered they're face but I can sense they're fear and regrets. They are coverd in his blood.
"Hey. I thought killing was my job around here." I say casually but the human didn't take it to easily. The human quickly turned around and I could see they're face now. A girl with dark hair and brown eyes but there were black markings on her cheeks looking almost like cracks.
" Ah! Im sorry! I didn't mean to kill him! I didn't-"
I cut the human off with my laughter. It's a girl a year younger then me but she's so short! How cansomeone like her kill a fully grown man?! Hah! " oh no no no! Don't apologize you Just made my last job of the day more easy!"
My dear little pet evil spirit hovered over the mans body and unhinged it's jaw as the soul finnaly begins to glow and show itself. After only a few seconds my pet eats the soul whole and stores it within its stomach only to be vomited out later back in hell to show my job is done.
"What- what is that thing?!" The human cried
I smiled " oh that? Well that's my dear pet assistant to help me store the souls"
The human looks worriedly at my pet.
"Now then. Back to business. "
The human looked at me surprised
"You.. killed my target but thats honestly no issue for me"
"Its.. not? " the human spoke.
"Oh no it's not. See as I demon I was given the task to collect a amount of souls everyday. This man was my last catch of the day. Taking a soul is no easy task. We have to kill th we owner first then it would be much easier"
The human girl speaks again
"Can't you just take a humans should while they are alive though?"
Toni continues "we only do that if we wish to eat the soul. If we rip it out of a human and store it the soul would be damaged and uneasy"
"Oh..." the human understood.
"Now then, where would you like to eat?"
"W-what?! " the Human stuttered
"I said where would you like to eat? It's my reward to you for doing my job for me. A LITTLE thank you if you must"
The human glared at me for that pun i made. Brave one isn't she?
"I.. there's a KFC place nearby that's open until 3am.. " the human spoke.
"Perfect! Let's go there my treat~ but first I don't think its appropriate for us t be like this" I said gesturing to my horns and then pointing towards the human who is still covered in blood.
With a snap of my fingers the blood suddunly dribbles down from the clothing of the human leaving no mark. While I myself shorten to a more human natural height but still taller then the human and then my horns and weapons dissapear.
"Woah!" The human yelled
"Impressive isn't it?" I cover my face a little to cover my eyes. Even if I change my appearance to look human my eyes can never change.
" My name is Tobi Willson" I reach out my hand for the human to shake.
"A pleasure to meet you" I continued.
The human took of her hood completely and the marks on her face disappeared.
" Lucy Ashley. Its nice to meet you Tobi" Lucy finnaly shakes my hand.
This.. is going to be interesting I think to my self as a smirk grew onto my face
"Come now! To this.. KFC"
