In 2012, the Gillard government gave major sports codes the chance to replace their alcohol sponsorship from a pool of $25 million. Many sports, including swimming and football, took up the offer. But four of our most followed codes – AFL, NRL, rugby and cricket – declined. I'd also like to see the federal government take another swing at weaning our big four sporting codes off the almighty alcohol dollar.

Toby Hall. I needed to bring Toby into all this, because Jess has many emotions about the boy who saw a life-time of damage in the girl he loved and thought "Fuck it." Because he still loved her. This music obsessed uncoordinated little ballerina loved without fear okay, even when the girl he loved could just have easily slit his throat as she could have kissed him, and that's why he makes me emotional. He's kind, and soft, and everything that Letty use to be before life ruined her. He's the only thing that reminds her those things still exist in this world, and he does so without agenda. He doesn't love her because he wants to fix her. He does it just because he's Toby, and that's the kind of god damn guy he is. Did I also mention that he's gotta a pretty A+ taste in music? Because he does.

IN SUMMARY: 50% BAE, 25% MUSICIAN, 25% DANCER, 100% NERD

The Lake || Letty and Toby

Letty walked through their small camp with a smile on her face. Her plan was ready, but she needed to wait until nightfall to act on it... So for now, she had time to spend with her friends. She'd changed into a pair of shorts, a vest and her walking boots, the weather unseasonally warm to early March. "Toby?" She called out, having no idea where he was. "To-by! C'mon, I've got my swimsuit on under my clothes, let's go!" She shouted again, having got herself prepared for a swim unlike the last time they'd decided to go for one. "If you don't show yourself I'm going without you!"

Dance Lessons || Letty and Toby

Letty walked through the weaving hallways of Kingston, unable to find where the stupid Sports Hall was. Really, whoever decided to make an Asylum so huge needed a good slap to the head. After getting lost on three separate occasions, she finally began to see signs leading her towards her destination. Upon actually finding the damn place, she smiled widely before skipping inside. "Toby? You here?" She called out, her voice echoing in the vast room. Having been home schooled for the last half of her education, Letty had never seen a Sports Hall before, or at least never one quite so big. For a moment she just stood and marvelled at it's size.
