The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a collection of games from the original Spyro series, built to recreate the first 3 games in the series. By adhering to the spirit of the original games in aspects that would be of interest to players (i.e. recreating the original levels in terms of spacing and position of collectibles), the game is also able to fudge aspects of the game design that may feel uneven or arbitrary in a modern version. One example of this is the inclusion of Spyro’s ability to dive roll in all 3 chapters of the trilogy, rather than just the games where it originally existed.
