below is just how my brain works when putting down ideas so, sorry if its all mush.

anyway! Rose Whitby! She's actually older than both Tom and Noctua, i realize now, for Tom-its only by a few months, for Notcua its more than a year; but im sure Toctua wouldnt mind that considering she likes Toctua's age gap, which is only a year as well.

Anyway-again-Rose! She's a half-blood, mostly raised Muggle by her muggle dad but with knowledge in the wizard world, her mom was the witch but her parents divorced early on in her life and her dad ended up with custody, mostly because her mom wasnt in the legal system and the courts couldnt 'find' her, and her dad got her as a result. shes not complaining, her dads the best.

She's already in 2nd year by the time Tom and Noctua start at Hogwarts, and watches from afar as they become friends, yearning for a connection like that because while shes very friendly, she has a tough time keeping friends that want her around as much as she wants them.

Rose hates skirts/dresses with a passion, they're just uncomfortable for her-being on the thicker side of the body types-so she's pretty insecure in skirts and will wear pants/the boys uniform, and has gotten detention for it multiple times but considering that's the worst the professors can give her for not wearing a skirt, that doesn't stop her from putting on some pants-even if it gets her in trouble.

She's one of those people that doesnt realize how funny she is. She just says out-of-pocket shit like 'That one's got one brain cell and it's being electrocuted' and grins when it makes someone laugh. Very dark humor, will suggest to let someone's pet be hit by a car because its annoying.

weee bit obsessive, codependent really-once she's close enough to someone, gets anxious if she doesnt talk to her person/people at least once a day. CLINGER, constantly touching her preferred people, you are not safe from a hug.

grows her crushes on Tom and Noctua in her 4th year while they were in their 3rd, doesnt do anything about it till her 6th year and after Noctua was missing from most of the school year due to Dragon pox, which not only sent Tom into a spiral, but made Rose decide it was now or never for them both.

upcoming oc x oc x canon fic kinda starts from there, ofc does not actually intertwine with what Toctua has made for Noctua and Tom, its just a fun stupid au because i love them sm and i wanna bite em and shake em around like a dog

Sorry, I haven't been updating much lately! I'm getting closer to my surgery (it's scheduled for May 27th, and I'm starting to get the test results I need to be cleared for it). I'm also working on merch with Tom and the possibility of selling it outside of my country. I made a keychain design, but I'd also like to make a sticker pack, so it's been a bit delayed (you can see the keychain in my x)!! Oh! And I'm writing a fanfic, it's so tiring. I realized I'm completely useless with words, but I'm trying, honestly. I'm doing it in my native language first, so I don't know how long it will take to translate it for ao3. I hope you all have a great day!

I need ideas (actually, I have an AU!GOTH with them on my list. I also wanted to draw Tom's bang in my spare time, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I want to make them cool old-fashioned, but it turns out like anime boys from Ouran…)

p.s. I was thinking about doing Bastard! Tom and Targaryen! Noctua, but now… I think I'd do it the other way around too; they look interesting both ways… I'll definitely draw their children, too. Just because I want to. And I might want to think a little about the twins' designs.

Sorry for bombarding with links, I'm doing it again… I really want to start an Instagram account, although I can't say it's the most convenient platform for me. On the other hand, I want to try again with Toctua… Sometimes I start to worry that blog won't be consistent in style, because I'm constantly experimenting…

Noctua hated Potions. She had no problems with other classes, except for flying on a broomstick in the first years. But Potions was torture. She didn't get the right potions often enough, she knew the theory part well, but when it came to creating, everything went wrong. After she got sick with dragon pox, everything got worse, she missed too much.

Tom politely extended her hand to help her. Although most likely he simply could not allow her to fall in grades. And Noctua could not refuse, after all, Tom is the best in Hogwarts, and Potions is an important exam that she will need for her future profession.

Tom's efforts were not in vain, after all, Noctua was diligent in her studies. But even after graduation, she hated making potions. Oh, this will come back to haunt her …

Rose Whitby Aesthetic/facts that pop up in my head

Random tid-bits GO!

Was very shy from the ages of 4-14, to new people at least, struggled to make friends if they didnt come up to her first, got anxious talking to her friend if they were already talking to someone else; scared she wasnt needed/wanted anymore. having two people, one of which only tolerated her and Noctua, helped with the abandonment anxiety.

Had LONG ass hair growing up, chopped it at 14 in the summer-before her 15th birthday, because she got annoyed and her dad took her to a barber to formally get it cut. she likes it short and fluffy but will grow it out to just above shoulder length as winter comes in. really only cuts it twice a year.

Lowkey morally grey? like if you're a POS, like cartoonishly evil/just a dickhead, Rose will think you deserve to get murdered in some capacity. or just have something real bad to happen to you.

Thinks blood purity is just stupid at this point in history, like she understands the history and why theres so much muggle/muggle-born hate, but also-its the 20th century my guys, blood supremacy is just old-fashioned at this point.

Random yet big history buff, actually knows the history behind the original group of the knights of Walpurgis (i think its fanon but forever ago i saw a thing about there being a group of wizards/witches who were active during the witch trials and saved anyone set to burn/hang, including muggleborns) but also mostly just knows random history shit. can she tell you about the goblin riots? no, does she know random ass pirate history?? yes!

Dresses more masculine over feminine, but! wont deny little bits of femininity, like a bow instead of a tie on her uniform, along with necklaces and jewelry, drapey sweaters. but sometimes she just's wanna dress like a dark-toned Peter Pan and thats okay.

Def the most androgynous of her, Tom, and Noctua.

Swears. a fuck ton. not to the point where she's using fuck with every other word. tasteful swearing, a good fuck here and there in her sentences.

Will go to a Quidditch match if shes already in the mood for it, but actually not super into it, she knows the rules n stuff, but shes more into physical muggle sports-like baseball! loves baseball, mean ass throw on her, used to play when she was young with her brothers. It wasnt very popular growing up(it's pretty much just an American sport, not very popular anywhere else), so it was very much something only she and her brothers played with her cousins, but she'd love to play a full game.

speaking of that mean ass throw, she can KNOCK you out with that arm, be it something to throw at you or just straight up punch you. very physical, first response is to hit something over calming down and talking it out. esp when she was younger, didnt really grow out of the 'hit first talk later' thing till she was like-15, unless it was her brothers. they always got hit no matter what.

ive mentioned them twice now but yeah shes got brothers, two older ones, Colin-who is a year older than her-is a squib, and Justin is several years older than her and has a different dad, already graduated from hogwarts.

lowkey meaaaan, mostly keeps that part to herself, like-if you're annoying? she will tell you to fuck off in her head or rant about you once you're out of ear shot, but she will tear into you if you wont get a hint. is not mean about appearance though, just personality.

Glasses are always dirty, barely cleans them, Tom has to yank them off her face to get the smudges and dirt off.

freckles on bridge of nose, gets acne on cheeks, permanent flush to cheeks due to rosacea that was passed down to her from her dad, and her grandpa on her maternal side. gets red super easily.

cries when she laughs.

collects rocks and LOVES friendship charms/bracelets, totally bought three matching sets to share with Tom and Noctua, each having their favorite colors. Rose's is pink... absolutely makes Tom wear the pink one.
