✂️ To cut...or not to cut? ✂️ I love the length, but this much hair is *heavy*. It's thick, somewhat coarse, requires a metric shit-ton of hair conditioner and leave-in treatments (deep conditioners, serums, sometimes a very small amount of oil for the ends) to keep it manageable, and it doesn't respond well to curlers or dryers. . This is probably the longest my hair has ever been, and I have a love/hate relationship with it, and right now I don't know what to do with it all. So, my hair has decided to be THE prime example of the Southern expression "the higher the hair, the closer to God". I'm actually scared to brush through it tonight after it took advantage of the low humidity today and decided it would poof up, after being curled, teased and sprayed within an inch of its life instead of flatten out a little like it normally does. I'm even more scared of what it's going to look like in the morning. 😳😳😳 Although I might take a photo for the laughs. I'm actually torn between actually getting it cut shorter like this or keep letting it grow longer. It's currently a couple inches below my shoulders at this point, after having a good 4-5" cut off about 3 weeks ago.
