I finished The Strenght of the Few yesterday, so here's a quick sketch to cope... again. Man this books really mess with my brain ughhhh-- but they are so good. I will be making some other sketches eventually. This fandom requires more illustrations!

Started reading Fahrenheit 451 again.

Here are some interpretations of the characters. My pencil was acting up on Beatty & Faber tho, I'm sorry haha

I love this book so much, you have no idea. I first bought it in Spanish (my native language) at a friend's book fair, and it is second-hand. And I loved it from the first chapter on. But I thought, "the writing is absolutely delightful, I'm sure it will be even more beautiful in its original language". So I went and got a digital copy of it — the one I'm currently reading. And yes, I was right. It's poetry, it's catharsis, it's raw and refined at the same time and I savor every bit of it.

And I want more people to read it, because I think it's important for the times we're living in. I think it can help us to wake up from the fever-social media dream we're on.

Anyways, thank you for reading so far. I hope you like the sketches. If not, it's okay, they're my very first renditions of these amazing characters.

Felt like presenting one of my many Original Characters.

Here's Charlie (and JC and Zoey, but I'll draw them another day). He's the leader of the tech, engineering & electronics base of the Builders, an organization that's trying to rebuild the destroyed society they live in.

They all are from a dystopian story I've been tinkering with for the past decade and a bit more. Damn I feel old.

Anyways, I wanted him on my feed today because I love him. Enjoy!
