So today marks an absolutely massive milestone; the first day in 13 years I’ve gone out and about adventuring with no tubes anywhere in my body; no catheter, no portacath, no PEG!! It’s both incredibly disconcerting and wonderfully freeing 💖 This latest medical adventure has been incredibly scary... but totally worthwhile. I don’t know what the future holds; yes, there is so much uncertainty, so much potential for disaster. But there is far more potential for good; for joy and wonder and laughter and love.
