Hotel Transylvania
Created by Todd Durham and directed by the great Genndy Tartakovsky, Hotel Transylvania is a 2012 animated comedy centering on a hotel catering specifically to monsters who need a rest and break from the human world. The hotel is owned and run by Count Dracula and he has invited many of the most famous monsters to celebrate the 118th birthday of his beloved daughter Mavis (Gomez).
When this ‘human-free hotel’ is unexpectedly visited by a human traveler named Johnny, Drac must do everything in his power to prevent Mavis and the other guests from finding out that a human has found their safe place, which may jeopardize the hotel's future and his career. Following much hi jinx everything turns out okay and Mavis and Johnny even fall in love.
Hotel Transylvania proved a substantial hit with audiences, leading to two sequels as well as a pair of television animates series. The voice cast includes Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon.
