Night 3 sleep training

This is going better than I thought, but I’m sure we haven’t hit the wall yet.

I left earlier tonight than I have been. He originally told me ok and bye-bye. In 15 min he has sung Pat-a-cake and various renditions of Baby Shark. For the first time, though, he has called me back in the room. I definitely did go in and give him a hug just to let him know that I hear him and I will come for him.

He looks to be nearly asleep now, at minute 20, for the second time 🤞

Oh, and my phone won’t turn on now after the battery super drained while I was in a zoom meeting and then power charged to 40%. Ugh. I don’t want to replace it.

Emotional Time

Luciano took a liking to his sister and oddly for a fussy young girl Kamila was a good big sister and enjoyed telling Luciano jokes. By the looks of things, the last one he didn’t understand or he was upset about something anyway. Kamila and Luciano talked, joked and danced together for some time before moving on to some other activity. Kamila typically played with blocks when not asking for a story.

Proud momma moment today. We got little #1 a Sabine Wren “barbie” doll for Christmas. She’s just today watched her first episode of Rebels, and gleefully pointed out “Bean” every time she saw her on screen. She then proceeded to want the “Bean” poster (that my husband had and I didn’t know about???) put up in her room. I gladly conceded and she now has her first nerd poster.

My 13 month old daughter doesn't enjoy it when I'm struck with the sudden urge to write a fantastical scene.

So, she contributes in her own way.

She was so proud of herself afterward. My baby writer.
