Imitating Sounds: Introducing animal sounds through picture books or stuffed animals. I introduce three animals and their sounds. I wait for him to imitate the sound and encourage any attempt. If he doesn’t, I repeat the sound in a silly and exaggerared tone. Ex., “Look Antonio Luis! Elephant! Trumpet.. Pawoo Pawoo!”. I make the activity interactive and avoid directly saying the sound as it may overwhelm him.
