🌈Happy Monday🌈 🤹♂️Playdough is a great developmental activity for kids, it helps with fine motor skills development, imagination, creativity, and coordination. It's also "great for strengthening the muscles involved in holding a pencil and writing" (http://childhood101.com/2011/02/playdough-plasticine-clay-for-kids-making-little-hands-stronger/). 🤹♂️Always supervise your child 100% of the time when playing with playdough, because little ones will eat it! 😝. 🌟This is not an edible recipe. 🤹♂️Homemade Playdough is super easy to make, inexpensive and so much fun!! You can get your little ones to help you knead the dough (if they're old enough), and they'll have such a great time! * * * 🤹♂️What you need: 🌟White flour: 1cup 🌟Warm water: 1cup 🌟Salt: 2tbsp 🌟Cream of tartar: 2tbsp 🌟Vegetable oil: 2tbsp 🌟Jelloo: one 3oz pack * * * 🤹♂️How to make: 🌟Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan. 🌟Mix until most of the lumps are gone. 🌟Over medium heat keep stirring until it becomes a ball of dough. 🌟It'll be ready when you can't stir anymore and it has formed a ball of dough. 🌟Once its ready, place dough on a smooth surface, counter, cutting board, silpat mat, or over some parchment paper, and let it cool. 🌟Once the dough has cooled you'll need about 1/2 cup of flour to slowly knead into the flour so its not sticky. 🌟Store in the refrigerator so it lasts a few weeks. Every time you take playdough out of the fridge inspect for weird smells or mould. It'll last a few weeks with daily use. 🌟If dough becomes sticky, just knead with some flour. ☘️ I added a bit of glitter to make it festive for St. Patricks 🍀 🤹♂️Hope you and little ones have a lot of fun with this playdough, its so much fun. * * * #homemadeplaydough##playdoughsensoryplay#makinglearningfun#playdoughdevelopmentalactivity#toddlerplaydoughfun
