from my experience, artists who live in cali, including people that graduated from calarts or any other prestigious animation school, are mostly unemployed or make a living off of internet commissions for indie game projects and stuff like that, or are making their own games. Animation is a super tough industry to get started in and it fucking sucks that it's that way
That’s pretty much exactly what I hear. No one is guaranteed a stable income let alone work in the first place with how hostle the industry is. There’s just so many artists and no execs willing to part with their 7 figure salaries.
your blog makes me feel super comfy [and sometimes hungry] it's some lovely content!
oh my goodness!! thank you sweet friend, thats exactly what im hoping i achieve hehe ^^ this means a lot dear! i hope youre having a wonderful day 💛🌼
toddnet replied to your post: what’s your real height??

hey I saw your reblog and I really don't know how... not dismissive? you want me to be about some dude on a country I don't even live in printing my art and slapping it on his stuff. it's weird getting dubbed a cop apologist when all I did was get my art stolen. it's not like I can do anything about it besides ask him on Twitter to take it off
I’m saying you’re being dismissive because you’re being dismissive.
Black people are actually, honest to god trying to communicate with you that the post you chose to write about isn’t something they can find funny and in fact find it disturbing. I’m ONE of those black people trying to communicate this to you.
But you keep on deflecting people pointing out that this post wasn’t the smartest idea, especially in today’s social climate, especially since you’re feeding into the sensationalism of your post and going “SEE I ACTUALLY HAVE PROOF IT’S NOT SHOPPED HERE ARE CLOSE-UPS OF THE MAGAZINE THE COP SENT ME”
It’d be one thing if they put your furry sticker on their car or their uniform, but they slapped that on their fucking gun.
Just admit the post wasn’t a smart idea and just fucking leave it at that. Are you in the habit of sending all black people who respond to your post negatively with this shit? Because I feel like that’s what you’re doing. And it’s not a good look.
