he’d been very careful to be absolutely silent as he drifted down to sit on the rock—— quietly, because he did so like to take others by surprise. in a fluid motion he pulled the instrument from his side and brought it to his lips in preparation.
the music was the grand announcement of his arrival, and peter couldn’t help but grin as he played. he said nothing to let them know that he was here, he just continued on with his tune.
