I know polydactlism can be fairly common in cats, but what about missing toes? We had a cat come into our clinic with only 3-4 toes on each foot and my vet said she'd never actually seen it before, and I was wondering if its really that rare

Anecdotally, I have seen a few cats who lost a toe or two from an accident. Never from birth. I can’t say about the true incidence of that condition.
