Also as an update, books and covers almost finished with production, they’ll be shipped to us by boat while merch finishes and is airmailed to us~

Hey okay I gotta question - so I was on YouTube and I saw someone saying how ff7 dismantled confirms that cle/r!th is canon? Is this true? Aren’t there other official books that say otherwise? What was even mentioned in that book? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question :)

Hah, Dismantled is so non-canon that it’s embarrassing they’re still bringing it up! Dismantled is a guide book from the 90s with diary entries from the characters they never stop quoting. The only problem is those diary entries were NOT written by Nojima. They were written by a non-SE staff member, Benny Matsuyama who was not involved at all with the OG.  The diary entries themselves don’t do much but contradict what the actual creators of FF7 have shown/said.  In one of the diary entries, Aerith says she loves Cloud more than Zack and in that same paragraph said she met Zack while selling flowers. Again, this was written by someone with no involvement in OG or even a member of SE. In Crisis Core, we see that Zack and Aerith meet in the church and she sells flowers because of Zack’s suggestion. The Crisis Core ultimania says Aerith wears pink because she’s waiting for Zack’s return. Zack and Aerith are shown in the lifestream together, AND stated that’s where they belong. Aerith not being in love with Zack or having moved on from him is not a sentiment shown anywhere outside of Benny’s work.  In Dismantled, Cloud thought meeting Aerith was a memorable encounter and thought her eyes were impressive. In the remake when he meets Aerith in the church again, he doesn’t remember meeting her and doesn’t have any reaction to her eyes that indicates he finds them impressive. He’s actually quite rude to Aerith until she brings up Zack.  Anyway, yeah, Dismantled isn’t canon and even if it was it definitely doesn’t confirm clerith. I mean, it does to cleriths but that’s because what makes clerith canon is such a low standard meanwhile what makes cloti canon is a standard that can’t be reached because they keep moving the bar on what counts and what doesn’t.

3. Kingsglaive or Brotherhood?

OMG it’s so hard to say. I really love both. But… I think I prefer Brotherhood a little bit. I mean, the bros are there, and I really love to see their backstories and how they become friends.

6. Characters you wanted to see interact more?

Prompto and Cindy. I can’t believe they did Rydia/Edge again, but at least Rydia seems to care for Edge, and maybe even to love him at the end of TAY. I’m pretty sure Prompto and Cindy interact more during the 10 years, but I would have loved to see a bit of those interactions. After 10 years, Prompto doesn’t only have a crush on her; he loves her, and I think they could be great together. They have a lot in common: they love mechanics/machines, they’re funny and friendly, they’re both adopted. They probably could share a lot and have deep conversations together. Even their names are great together (Argentum-Silver and Auron-Gold) LOL

7. Favorite relationship in game?

Well, I just can’t choose between the chocobros and Noctis/Luna. First, the chocobros probably have the most beautiful friendship I have seen in a video game. They act like real brothers, like Cid says. And I love how they’re not afraid to have deep conversations with each other. It’s so great to see a male friendship being that deep. Men also need to talk sometimes, or just need their friends to be there for them, and I love how they illustrate that in the game. I love them so much ♥

And for Noctis and Luna, I love their relationship so much. It’s very different than other Final Fantasy romances, and I really love that. They don’t need to see each other to love each other, and I think it’s amazing. Their love is just depper than that. It’s almost like they “feel” each other’s love, even when they are not together.Even if they don’t see each other as adults before they got together in the afterlife, it’s very clear how they love each other. Their faces and their voices tell everything. I really love tragic love story, so I really love theirs. At least, they’re together in death, but they deserved to live together :( ♥

Glad you like the Dianakko too! I don’t like...avidly ship them romantically, but like hey if they get together I am certainly not opposed. I just mainly want them to be friends. Super close good friends with a special relationship ;w; Bickering is all right but I just want them to not be “victim and bully” stereotypes (which I don’t think they’ll be anyway).

But yeah I just. Want to see more of them together. Working together. Being worried about each other. asjkdhfksf

I love Gladio, but Noct is my favorite character in FFXV, and one of my favorite character ever ♥ He’s so real, and so touching.
