To Fall by Donna AnnMarie Smith Rating: 5 stars Recommend: YES

Bottom Line: The story was great! I have never read a book dealing with angels. I was so frustrated with daily life interruptions because it impeded me from reading this straight through. The plots, characters, and POV’s are great. That was unexpected because I though it was just going to be through Abby’s POV, but I loved that Xander and Cresil’s views were also incorporated in the story. This story is filled with amazing characters. I’ve never wanted to read any book involving angels/demons because of the demon part, but this was definitely worth the read. Read this book! You won’t regret it.

PROS: • Romance – Abby & Xander are so cute, and hopelessly in love with one another. • XANDER – I mean could the writer create a better sweet-romantic talker?! (Seriously raising the wishful real-life romantic gentleman out of a book- bar.) Example: “I’ll break your heart over and over again, but I promise you, our happy ever after will be something Heaven could envy.” The feels! I kept thinking: CAN I HAVE HIM?! • Abby’s inner-monologue: She is so (so so so so) FUNNY! Even though she was this pure-hearted soul, it was her humor that made me love her • Abby’s friends and Xander’s siblings.

CONS: • The ending! It just got so good! I wanted to read more, but now I have to wait until I get my hands on the second volume! (BTW, thank you so much Donna AnnMarie Smith for releasing that volume already) • Abby’s life being prone to danger. I mean she’s already in a ______ state (the blank contains a spoiler, but you should read this to find out what it is ;). Why go and add on so much more bad to her life. :/

To Fall by Donna AnnMarie Smith is a wonderful novel that everyone should read.
