In hindsight, Silver feeling happy when he is called "Silver Vanrouge" could throw people off.

Full birth name is supposed to be used before a harsh reprimand or when someone is very, very angry.

But if Silver hears "SILVER VANROUGE!!!", he would probably get all giddy. Maybe he would only realize the tone of the call afterwards.

Thinking about alternative endings to those tropes where the mc's confession gets completely lost. As in a scenario like,

MC and Silver are riding on Samson at a fast pace, so wind is blowing by their ears and the sound of hooves is fairly loud.

It can be generic; MC begins to say their confession, then suddenly changes it—or maybe they do say the confession, but it gets lost over the sound, so they begin blushing like a maiden and refusing to repeat themselves. More canonically, Silver falls asleep when they say it...

...but instead of having to wait for ages until the next confession, Samson, who's hearing this bullshit, comes to a COMPLETE stop. A complete, awkwardly abrupt stop. There is no excuse now. The fairytale mood is gone, but you're obligated to say it.

Samson is heavily judging you and you know it. He would be such a good matchmaker if he vibed with MC... If not? Complete homewrecker.

Silver would be the type of person to place a kiss against items that his S/O left kiss marks on. Lipstick marks on a letter? Or on a piece of fabric? He'll kiss it back and get butterflies in his stomach over the indirect kiss.

And his (nearly) inhuman ability to spot kiss marks even without lipstick. "This letter has a pattern of recently dried moisture in the shape of a lip..." type of deduction, and he has never been wrong about it.

I've been thinking about how, when someone calls something small, maybe a french fry or bean sprout... Another person might joke, "it's not THAT small now!"

You know why.

However,

What if, MC was training with Silver for the first time, trying to lift up their training sword which is still decently sized. It's a sword, after all. They say, "Wow, this is way larger than I thought!" to which Silver bluntly replies with, "It's not that large, now." in the most flat tone... With the most deadpan face. MC just stares back with wide eyes. Silver doesn't get it.
