i feel like misty and her togepi in pokeani are what people default to when they think of togepi, thus making a very striking difference between that and these two.
its also notable that togepi hasnt evolved implying that it isnt happy with gold. that or we can go to my usual headcanon that baby pokemon only evolve when they feel ready/are old enough
