“Together We Smile” Campaign
BGS is launching our first-ever multi-platform mental advocacy campaign. The purpose of the “Together We Smile” is to unite communities during the month of July for Minority Health Awareness Month in an effort to raise awareness, promote support, and educate nationally about mental wellness. Our goal is to get the topic of mental wellness/health trending throughout major social media platforms as a catalyst to ignite change concerning the conversation around mental health bringing the positive and community aspects of mental wellness to the forefront.

Be an Ally and provide tips on mental wellness
Share the TWS campaign social media banner on your accounts. (Be sure to follow us on our accounts.)
The campaign will last throughout the month of July.
Pledge Mondays
Help us get to 100 signatures by taking the Wellness Pledge in acknowledgement of minority mental health awareness month and for those who need support.
Tip & Staff Tuesdays
Hear from our staff about tips and experiences about what makes them smile and keeps them mentally healthy. Share your’s on any social media with the hashtag, #togetherwesmile, and we will be reposting throughout the day.
Crowdfund Wednesdays
Donate and encourage loved ones to donate and take the pledge as well!
Get Informed Thursday - July 2
Learn facts, statistics, stories, resources, and more about minority mental health. Also, share your story and facts!
#ThrowbackThursday - July 16
Post a picture of yourself when you were younger self smiling and see some of our staff do the same!
Instagram Challenge - July 23
Participate in a week long Instagram challenge that will contribute to positive feedback and motivation.
Twitter Chat - July 30
Join us and our affiliates on Twitter to discuss issues and strides towards mental health in various communities.
