Saint Walker was preparing himself and his daughter for their trip, feeling the tinge of residual nervousness that was normally otherwise drowned out by his hope. He wanted to introduce Atrocitus to his daughter, but was unsure of how he would react, as this was still very new for all three of them.

He would have gone on his own and left Peesh here with Brother Warth had the feeling of having her back not been so new; he still wanted to stay close to her for her sake and his own.
He smiled reassuringly at her -- he knew must have been just as nervous as he was. Placing her in the protective glow of his ring and offering her his arms, he affirmed to himself that he was ready to start this next chapter in his life.
