I FINALLY OWN THIS WONDERFUL MOVIE ON DVD!!!! 🥰🩵😭
I've loved the story of Balto for my entire life, the 1995 animated movie is my #1 favorite movie of all time. I've been aware of Togo and his part of the story for many years and was VERY excited when Disney released this movie on Disney+ back in 2019. It's a great movie and mostly historically accurate, which I've always appreciated. Unfortunately Disney has since removed the film from their platform and for whatever reason have never released it on physical media, not on DVD or Blu-ray, they didn't even release the soundtrack.
Luckily for those of us that adore this movie, there are physical copies out there, you just have to know where to look and also be pretty lucky since they tend to sell out fast. I managed to snag this copy off eBay and it arrived yesterday. The seller lives in my state, so it arrived fairly quickly. I haven't had time to sit down and watch the entire movie yet, but I put it in my DVD/Blu-ray player to test it out and it played beautifully! The audio is crystal clear and the picture is very high quality, just as good as any official release would have been.
I'm SO excited to finally own a physical copy of this amazing movie that no one can ever take from me! It can never be altered or deleted, it's mine forever.
