“Seriously Daan,” Bas laughs, “How do you always find the craziest girl in any room?”
Daan growls in frustration, but can’t argue. He does have a frustrating talent for attracting crazy and unstable women. Just why tonight? It was one of his rare evenings where he could be out and not worry. Saar was with her mom and he wasn’t even supposed to work in the deli tomorrow.
“I just wanted a fun evening,” Daan whines as he washes his hands in the bathroom sink. “Instead this woman has decided that I’m her soulmate and won’t take no for an answer.”
Bas just laughs at his misfortune, but a stranger at the sink offers, “Tell her you’re gay and that’s why you aren’t interested.”
Daan looks over at the helpful stranger and is momentarily struck dumb by the most stunning blue-green eyes. “D-do you think that would work?” he stutters out.
The man smiles shyly and shrugs, “It always works for me.” He gives Daan another small smile before hustling out of the bathroom.
Daan turns back to Bas.
“It couldn’t hurt, right?” Bas adds unhelpfully.

“I don’t believe you,” Annemie purred, running her fingers through his hair, “Maybe you just need a good woman to show you what you’re missing.”
Ugh. This woman couldn’t take no for an answer AND had no respect for sexual orientation.
“Is everything okay?” It was the man from the bathroom. He had placed his hand gently on Daan’s bicep and was smiling at Daan.
“Oh, hey babe!” Daan says excitedly, smiling at the stranger. He gives a panicked look to his savior, who just smiles in amusement. Slipping out of Annemie’s grasp, Daan moves and kisses the stranger lightly. He hopes that he isn’t crossing a boundary, but the stranger is still smiling.
He hears Annemie’s gasp of disgust and muttered slur, but he doesn’t even notice. His light kiss is turning to something more passionate. This man smells so good. His lips are so soft.
Experimentally he opens his mouth and the man matches him, darting out his tongue to lick against Daan’s lower lip. Daan’s hands instinctually move to the man’s hips, drawing him a little closer.
“I think she left,” the man murmurs against his lips.
“I’m so sorry,” Daan gasps as the spell break. He steps back a little from the man, panting a little. “I shouldn’t have taken advantage of you like that.”
The man smiles, “I really didn’t mind. Do you need anymore rescuing?”
Daan shakes his head, “At least let me buy you a drink?”
The man shakes his head, “I need to be getting home.”
Daan doesn’t want to say goodbye just yet, “Can I walk you home? It’s the least I could do.”
The man blushes a bit, but nods. Daan waves his goodbye to Bas and follows the stranger into the night.
“I never got the name of my knight in shining armor,” Daan says, flashing his dimples at the man. “I’m Daan.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Daan,” the man murmurs, “I’m Paolo, but I don’t think anyone has ever called me a knight in shining armor. Plus I got a really nice kiss out of it.”
Daan blushes a little. It was his first time kissing a man, but he suddenly didn’t want it to be the last. “It is very nice to meet you, Paolo. Do you have a boyfriend at home? A husband that I need to apologize to?” Daan asks with a grin, hoping and praying that he said no.
“Actually I have a very special girl waiting for me at home,” Paolo answers. Daan’s face must fall comically, because Paolo giggles and adds, “She’s three and home with a babysitter. I am gay. I didn’t think you were…”
“I…” Daan trips over his words a little. “I guess I never really thought about it until I met a stunningly beautiful man in a disgusting club bathroom. I also have a daughter. She’s seven.”
“I’ll have to ask you for tips,” Paolo smiles, “I still feel like I have no idea what I’m doing half the time.”
“I could take you out to dinner and you could ask me all the questions you want,” Daan adds, smiling at the handsome man’s profile.
Paolo suddenly stops and turns to face Daan, smiling a little incredulously, “You are charming, aren’t you?”
Daan smiles and steps a little closer, “Tell me to back off and I will.”
Paolo’s hand hesitantly moves to Daan’s hip. He sighs and looks through his lashes at Daan, “I don’t want you to back off.”
“Good,” Daan murmurs before closing the distance and pressing his lips to Paolo’s.
Here is a little Majid & Roberta ficlet! (text under the cut)
Warning: Includes some transphobia and violence, but the transphobe gets his ass kicked real quick.
***
Majid is so used to sounds of violence, that he almost walks past the alleyway. But he hears the cry of pain and fear.
He runs down the alleyway and sees a man rearing back to kick a woman curled on the ground.
“Son of a bitch,” Majid yells, grabbing the man and throwing him back.
“Stay out of this,” the man grunts, “This freak of nature needs to learn.”
“Leave her alone,” Majid growls, moving to stand in front of her.
The man sneers, “That’s no woman.” Majid glances down and sees tears on the woman’s beautiful face. “It’s a freak,” the man continues.
Majid isn’t going to let him say anything else. He steps forward and plows his fist into his jaw. The man slumps to the ground and Majid follows him down. He continues punching the filthy bigot until he is unconscious, a bloody mess on the dirty ground.
Standing, Majid turns toward the woman, still sprawled on the ground and looking fearfully at Majid. Finally seeing her for the first time, he’s struck by her beauty.
He knows why the bigot targeted her. Her shoulders are a little too broad, her jaw a little too strong, but they only serve to enhance her beauty.
She’s dressed all in white like an angel, albeit streaked now with dirt, with knee-high boots. She’s probably one of the streetwalkers that frequent this area, but she has a sense of eloquence and grace that he isn’t used to.
She has soft, chestnut hair that swirls around her shoulders. A beauty mark graces her chin, directly below her red lips, and Majid is struck by a sudden need to trace it with his tongue.
Her eyes are the most entrancing though. An indescribable color that is simultaneously blue, green, and gray, and yet those words don’t fully capture the magic there. Her eyes are full of emotion now too. He thinks he sees fear, sadness, pain, but maybe cautious hope too?
He kneels next to her, “Are you okay?”
She nods, “This isn’t the first time this has happened.”
“I’m sorry,” Majid murmurs, his gut twisting that anyone would want to hurt this angel. “I’m Majid.”
She gives him a small smile, “I’m Roberta.”
“Let me help you up,” he says, reaching out to her.
She reaches out to him, but gasps in pain when she tries to stand. He has to catch her around her hips to keep her from falling, his hands accidentally brushing against the soft skin there.
“I’m sorry,” she whimpers, “I think I twisted my ankle.”
“That’s okay,” he responds, swooping her up in his arms. “Is this alright?”
She blushes and nods, “Thank you for helping me.”
“It’s not very often that I get to play knight in shining armor to a damsel in distress,” Malik responds, trying to give her his most charming smile.
He likes the feel of her in his arms. It feels so right having her pressed against him like this.
Here you go! Special thanks to @thatpratdragonlady for the idea!

Jafar left the meeting in a rage. He knew that working with the Nizzuto family was going to be profitable. By working with Primo and Mickey, they would control most of the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, that meant he had to work with the brothers.
Primo was violent, two seconds away from an outburst at any given time. He’d heard stories of him killing underlings without warning or reason. Mickey was almost worse. Outwardly charming, but violent and devious on the inside.
Just now he’d seductively trailed a finger down Jafar’s chest and had implied he’d be willing to sweeten the deal if that’s what was needed. Mickey was handsome, both men were, but he’d probably end up with his throat cut.
He’s fuming as he leaves the office and heads toward the door of the house. He’s so upset that he doesn’t notice the little man until he almost runs him over. He instinctually reaches out to grab the man, steadying him before he can fall.
He’s greeted by the same blue-green eyes as Mickey and Primo, but they look softer in the frail-looking man. He’s obviously another sibling, but he looks younger and sweeter.
“I’m so sorry,” the new Nizzuto sibling stutters out.
Jafar smiles at the sweet-looking man and thinks that maybe there is a fun way that he can work out his frustration towards Primo and Mickey.
“No,” Jafar purrs, rubbing the man’s bicep with his thumb, “I was distracted and almost knocked you over. I’m Jafar.”
The man blushes slightly, his head dipping down, “I’m Ce, Cesare. I’m Primo and Mickey’s brother.”
“I could tell by your eyes, but I have to say yours look even more beautiful than your brothers,” Jafar says, giving Ce a smoldering look and making him blush even more. “You know… I’m staying at a hotel in the city, but I hate to eat alone. Would you join me for dinner?”
Jafar hadn’t even needed to feed the young man, although he looked like he could use a meal. Cesare had dreamily followed him through the lobby and up to his room.
As soon as they were through the door, Jafar had pressed him against the door, fucking him hard and fast. Cesare hadn’t complained, happily letting Jafar plunder his body.
After Jafar had carried the little man to the bed, slotting his body behind Cesare’s boney fame. He strokes Cesare’s hip and thinks that after they rested for a bit he might be ready for round two, maybe taking his time and playing with Ce a little more.
“Will your brothers be upset?” Jafar murmurs, pressing a kiss behind Ce’s ear.
Cesare giggles, “I wasn’t planning on telling them. They’d probably be upset with you.”
Jafar chuckles a little, “You could tell them. I don’t mind pissing them off.”
Cesare freezes in his arms and slowly turns.
“Is that why you slept with me? To piss them off?”
“Well…” Jafar tries for another charming smile, “It wasn’t the only reason.”
Tears flood Ce’s eyes and he sits up, grabbing for his clothing.
“Come on,” Jafar murmurs, “This was fun, right?”
Cesare doesn’t answer him, too focused on pulling on his clothes. His back is to Jafar, but Jafar can see the way his boney shoulder are slumped and curled in on himself.
“Come on,” Jafar says, reaching out to grab Ce’s arm.
When Cesare finally looks up, his face is streaked with tears. Jafar feels a pang of guilt and lets go of Cesare.
Cesare stands and moves to the door, and instant before he closes it behind him he whispers in a broken voice that Jafar can barely hear, “I thought you liked me.”
This is a sequel to my Majid & Paolo fic, Trick or Treat. (Text under the cut)
Majid shifted the flowers nervously as he walked up the stairs. Would Paolo like them? Or would he think they were too girly?
Tonight was their first date and Majid had been looking forward to it ever since Halloween. He couldn’t stop thinking about the beautiful green-eyed man and his adorable daughter.
Majid didn’t like to admit it, he had a reputation after all, but he had a weakness for kids. He’d always loved taking care of Tarik and he’d never really outgrown it.
He wasn’t used to being around little girls, but he had a feeling that little Italia was going to wrap him around her little finger.
Paolo opens the door almost immediately after Majid knocks, but he looks just a little frazzled. His hair is standing up in all directions as if he was fisting his hands in it and his shirt is only partially buttoned up.
“Majid, I’m so sorry,” Paolo rushes out, “My babysitter just canceled. I’ve been calling around trying to find someone, but I haven’t found anyone yet.”
“Hey, hey, hey,” Majid reaches out to Paolo’s tight shoulder, rubbing them slightly. “It’s okay. If you can’t find someone… Maybe we can just get take out?”
“Are you sure?” Paolo relaxes and Majid knows he’s made the right suggestion.
“Yes,” Majid smiles, “Maybe after we eat I can take you both to get ice cream down the street?”
Paolo’s face breaks into a big grin, “That would be wonderful. Italia loves ice cream a little too much.”
“No such thing,” Majid teases with a wink.
“MAJID!”
Italia comes barreling into the room and tackles Majid’s knees. Chuckling, Majid reaches down and scoops up the tiny girl.
“Hello Italia,” Majid says, “Are you feeling better?”
Italia nods happily, “Papa says I can only have one piece of candy a night.”
“Your papa sounds really smart.”
Italia looks at the flowers and bats her eyelashes at Majid, “Are those for me?”
He looks up at Paolo who nods his head, smiling broadly. “They sure are,” Majid responds.
Italia claps excitedly and clutches at the flowers. She takes a deep inhale of their scent, squealing in delight.
“Come on, tesoro,” Paolo says, “Let’s put them in water. You know, Majid said that if you are really good and eat all your dinner, he’ll take us out for ice cream.”
“Really?” she says excitedly. “I love ice cream, so does Papa!”
“Oh, he does, does he?” Majid says, following Paolo into the kitchen. “Does your Papa have a sweet tooth?”
Italia nods seriously, “I caught him eating my Halloween candy.”
“Italia!” Paolo screeches indignantly.
Majid continues laughing as he watches Paolo trim the flowers and put them in a vase, arguing and teasing his daughter the entire time.
He still needed to cancel the reservations for tonight, but Majid thought that tonight would turn out to be pretty magical nonetheless.
This is a sequel to Coffee Shop Rescue featuring Rico, Primo, and Guido.
Primo enters the coffee shop exactly three months to the day after meeting Rico, but it is his brother, not Rico manning the cash register.
Guido gives him a look. Literally, everyone on this planet was afraid of Primo, except for his brother. His brother, the soft cinnamon roll, that sometimes cried at commercials.
Guido taps his fingers on the counter and raises an eyebrow, “I’m guessing you didn’t come in to see me?”
Primo tries to give his brother a glare, but it doesn’t work. Guido just folds his arms and leans against the counter.
“You said to wait three months,” Primo snaps defensively.
Guido narrows his eyes before he sighs, “If you hurt him…”
Primo raises his hands sarcastically, “Yes, Guido I’m terrified of you.”
“Hey,” Guido snaps, pointing a finger at him, “I’m serious. He’s in a good place. He deserves happiness. You do too,” he admits. “Just be careful because I love you both.”
Primo sighs before leaning over to kiss his brother’s cheek. Guido was too good for this world.
“He’s in the back,” Guido waves him off, “He’s taking his lunch break.”
Primo smiles before moving into the back. He sees Rico immediately, picking at a sandwich while listening to music on his headphones.
He stares at him for a little bit. Guido was right, Rico was finally in a better place. He smiled more and didn’t flinch as much.
Primo had made sure that Victor had left not only town, but the country. Rico was safe to rebuild his life.
He moves into Rico’s line of sight, not wanting to startle him.
Rico’s face lights up when he sees Primo, slipping the headphones from his ears.
“Primo, this is a nice surprise.”
“It shouldn’t be,” Primo murmurs, stalking closer.
Rico blushes, but his smile widens. “Three months.”
Primo takes his hand, feeling the electricity from the simple touch traveling up his skin, and pulls Rico to his feet. He steps a little closer, waiting for any sign of discomfort.
“Rico,” Primo purrs, rubbing a thumb over the top of Rico’s hand, “Would you have dinner with me tonight?”
“I would love that,” Rico answers shyly.
Primo should step back, but he’s waited so long. He takes a step forward until their lips are a breath apart and waits. Rico takes the last step moving to press his lips to Primo.
The kiss is worth every minute of the past three months.
It starts soft. Just a test, slowly sinking into each other. But then Rico parts his lips and tilts his head, deepening the kiss. Primo loses his control. One hand moves to Rico’s lower back and the other cradles the nape of Rico’s head. He growls a little as he slips his tongue into Rico’s mouth.
Rico trembles a bit, but it’s a tremble of desire, not fear. His arms wrap around Primo’s back, pulling him closer and pressing their bodies tight together. He sighs as Primo’s tongue tangles with his own.
Rico and Primo are both panting by the time they part. Primo wants so badly to claim this man as his own, make love to him and erase any lingering memories of Victor, but they are in Guido’s kitchen and Rico deserves better.
He grasps Rico’s chin, tilting it to lay two chaste kisses on his lips.
“I’ll see you tonight, Rico,” Primo murmurs.
Rico doesn’t answer, just blushes and nods his head.
When he leaves, Guido rolls his eyes at him, but he thinks his brother is pleased. Guido was a romantic at heart and wanted Primo and Rico to be happy together.
This is an excerpt from part four of the Nextdoor A/B/O AU series.

“I…” he licks his lips, his panic making his mouth dry, “I thought you were on birth control.”
“I was... I am… I don’t know what happened.”
His mind is spinning. This was too soon. They hadn’t been together long enough. His brain starts racing, thinking about how they didn’t have the money or time for a baby.
“Are you angry?”
He looks up at the face of his vulnerable omega, already streaked with tears. He feels panic, stress, a spinning sensation in his head…
“I’m not angry,” he answers truthfully. “I’m just scared.”
“Me too,” his omega answers through renewed tears.
Moving on instinct, he steps forward and gently wraps his arms around the omega taking care not to squeeze too tightly.
