On our History of Education class, our teacher was talking about imperialism, colonialism and ethnocentrism; talking about how 22 of april isn't the day Brazil was discovered, but the day Portugal arrived and brought the massacre to the natives. How there was 600 different tribes in the 1500, and now there are barely 200. 522 years since the massacre begin, since they're land was stolen and still there are people that look at them like lazy. Natives, black people, they fought for they're lives, they resisted, and the least we can do is listen to their stories, not repeat the same old garbage spilled by the colonies.
