Sketchtober Day 11: Never

I have no real excuse why I didn't finish this earlier, other than I actually am really second-guessing posting flat out spoilers just in general posts. But then, I have like two actual followers, so eh.

(The real reason is I don't have a small child to pose with, and online references for the pose I need are thin on the ground... also I thought maybe I should draw another building in the background but then said, screw it)

Yup, that’s where the comic stopped. I dunno, I just never got the hang of battles, for some reason. I mean, look at all that empty space I just threw away! I’m the same with movies--I often tune out if it’s too much more complicated than Inigo vs. the Man in Black.

In contrast, I skip to the racing sequences in Speed Racer, and the pod race is the only part of The Phantom Menace that holds my attention. Maybe I should draw a racing comic??

Wedding Ship Meme

I wanted to do one of these but... canonically, this is the only one that's not a spoiler lol D=

(you can see how well it goes, too) Note: "I Do, I Do, I Do" is more canon in the sort of Green Room space that is where my characters go before/(during?)/after they "star" in their stories than something that would occur actually in the wedding proper. In said Green Room space, Collie and Alex sing this karaoke to their better halves (music video I am never getting around to making).

So, now *I* hate the ending! ...mostly bc Satsu is a design I never figured out how to draw a way I like =p her patterns are so "furry" they're like tattoos when she's not really supposed to have tattoos. I was going for a look that was distinctive without being obnoxious, and I forgot the last part 9_9

Definitely redrawing this, but not any time soon (onward to NaNo!)

Sketchtober Day 25: (interstitial... whatever's next)

So, hopefully you know now why I kinda stopped daily updates for a minute there! Ha... this really shouldn't have been so hard, but even though I can literally invent characters at the drop of a hat, I don't LIKE doing it when I'll completely forget about them once I look away. Characters are the closest I will ever get to having kids, and even though they don't need to be fed or anything (that I'm aware of...?), I still don't enjoy just, FOOMP, "Hey, you exist now, but you serve no purpose anymore. Oops."

Like, I know they don't feel anything either way whether they're well-used or literally disposable, but *I* feel bad =/

Already forgotten all of them (not even sure I matched the genders, but most of them are androgynous anyway so w/e)

Late bc I wasn't feeling it. Was even going to punish myself by making myself draw their feet in this one, but eh.

Sketchtober Day 18: (interstitial 5)

Oops, I drew these out of order... guess I'm posting this in advance! WOW, I HAVE A BUFFER!! D=

(EXTREMELY temporarily, since I'm REALLY not feeling the "next" one in sequence)

The cool thing about this set is I'd always wanted to do a thing where I drew all my characters in a uniform to ensure they all looked distinguishable, and this is sort of that but easier (but clearly a lot of them are missing, for a certain reason I would figure is evident but maybe not if you haven't read the book)

Anyway, it's super easy for anyone to get into the club to get this ULTRA FASHIONABLE formless robe: just want to be there—the one in charge is rather forgiving that way. (Not the way I originally wrote this, but it only makes sense, if THIS GUY is there.)
