Hi! I'm really sorry to bother you, but I don't know what to do anymore :/ Have you heard about the TVXQ Beyond Live concert? This may be my only chance to actually see them "live". However, I'm totally new to this and I don't understand how the stream works. Is it available for anyone worldwide? Can I pay with normal money, or do I need some special coins? What's with the app? Do I need it? Just... how?!?! What's Naver? What's VLive? I'm so lost. Thank you for any advice, thank you!!

Hi! Pls don’t be sorry for asking :) i totally understand, I was confused AF myself at 1st, but now I think I get how it works so I hope I will be able to help, ok so:

Is it available for anyone worldwide?

Yes, anyone can watch it after buying the ticket.

Can I pay with normal money, or do I need some special coins? 

There are two ways to get a ticket:

1. Using VLive app (the streaming will happen via this app so you need to have an account there) - after making an account on vlive, on your acc settings page you can buy coins - for this concert you will need 1500 coins - after clicking on that amount you will need to pay - or with your credit/debit card or with paypal (im not sure if that’s an option everywhere tho, sorry). I was logged in with my gmail acc and the app automatically used my card I have saved on my gmail acc so i only had to accept the payment and the coins were mine. After getting the coins you need to click on THIS link that will transfer you to the Beyond the T ticket site, you click buy the ticket and it exchanges your coins for the ticket - and it’s done. I have bought smthing this way for the 1st time, was stressed AF but in the end it was simpler and quicker than i expected.

You can also use Vlive on PC and the steps are the same.

2. Using yes24 web - this is the link  but I haven’t used this way, so I can’t take you step by step here, sorry :/// but here you just pay with your card, no coins are needed

What's with the app? Do I need it? 

Yes, you do need Vlive - but you can also use VLive on PC - you just need to create an account there and be logged in to buy and watch. V Live is a streaming platform owned by Naver - it’s a Korean company that own tv stations etc. So the concert will take place on the VLive so you can watch it only there - on app or on PC.

Once you will have the ticket, when the day comes, you just go to the VLive, click on your ticket and it transfers you to the stream. 

There is also this very useful twitter thread about it all as well, if you want some other details - it’s what helped me, actually ;)

Full honesty I was not feeling the light hair on Min until I saw it in black and white, where it actually really suits him. (Also whoever edited that vid where he answers questions from other SM idols needs a pay rise. Because that classical music whenever he gets too blunt gag is genius)

For me it depends on the hue they use on his hair now :P when it’s more yellow, i don’t like it as well, but when they make it more grey-green, then it looks BOMB *_*

but dark hair Changmin will forever win...

i was in a really awkward situation today.. i was talking to an older kpop fan and i said that one of my fav groups were tvxq, and they immeaditely told me that i was never gonna see them live... bc ot5 split. i said that i like ot2 more, and they went on a tangent on how their older songs as ot5 were better and shit. and i didn’t rlly know how to react and didn’t want to cause any tension, so i just didn’t say anything... has something like this ever happened to you???

Omg, poor you! :// These blockheads are luckily a minority rn, but sadly, are still there - sorry you had to deal with one.

What makes them blockheads is the simple rule - preferring one over another is a opinion, and opinion is like an asshole - we all have one, but we don’t force ours over others, right? Well, they think their anuses are superior...

And yeah, I had my fair share encounters with them and I just bluntly tell them that nothing about presplit TVXQ is better FOR ME than current TVXQ and ESPECIALLY not their live singing, lol. X’D In all honestly, this whole “legendary tvx5q live harmony ou em gee” is so strange to me, I’ve never seen it. I’m pretty sure it’s 99,9% only a nostalgia at this point. in my time I’ve watched a LOTS of presplit concerts cuz there are still old songs that i love and that are not (sadly) yet covered by ot2. And every time I just cringed SO HARD at their singing. I mean, obv it was not THAT BAD, the potential was there. But after experiencing what Yh and Cm can do now, listening to “then” just hurts. Yh and Cm did so much work since the split to work on their vocals and techniques it just amazes me every time I have a chance to compare. Can’t say anything about the 3 now, Idk how they sound now. But then it wasn’t amazing neither. So when i hear someone going about the “legendary presplit singing” I already know this person knows SHT about TVXQ current performance and is just 2009-stuck and that’s that. 

That, ofc, is still just my opinion but I’m never afraid to show it - esp when some otfaker will push their on me ;) I recommend doing the same.

Opinion on Changmin’s new GF??

His girlfriend? Well, we don’t know anything abt her, but i do know 2 things: a) she’s the luckiest chick out there, damn girl! and b) she must be rly cool if someone like Chwang has fallen for her =D cuz i think he must be rather picky, esp when it comes to the personality of the person <3
