He hated going to new schools, you knew no one and everyone just assumed things about you. Kawaiya Hight was his fourth high school and he was only a second year and he hoped this went better than the last one. Something about him made people think he was trouble, perhaps the birthmarks on his face were what did it but, all he knew was the isolation made high school even worse than it normally was.
Rattling through another embarrassing introduction, Kiba shuffled to his seat sending what he hoped to be a welcome grin.
“Nice to meet ya.”

“So, what exactly is this place anyway? I ain’t exactly recognize this part of town. Do ya live ‘round here or somethin’?”
Sugar Sweet {For Tohxu}
The fox was one to never do something nice for others. He has even given his Lady and Mistress a hard time. Tomoe was never a nice person in the beginning, except for when he had fallen in love with Yukiji, but that was over 500 years ago. He was, after all, a wild fox in the beginning.
But...
There was something about the human girl Tohru that he wanted to protect, to basically take her away and hide her from the world. She was a sweetheart by nature, even if horrible things were done upon her. She just always wore that damn smile of hers.
Yet...
Tomoe wouldn’t change the girl. Not the sweet girl that he had began to have feelings for. True, he was harsh and completely straight forward. For the most part. But that didn’t change that he was kinder towards her then to others.
He amethyst eyes roamed over her figure, watching her as she smiled kindly at her friends. Once Tohru was away from her friends, Tomoe landed in front of her, causing the human girl to bump into him. Before the words could get out of her mouth, the fox leaned in and captured her lips. Once he pulled away, he couldn’t help but smirk at her expression, which was wide eyes and her cheeks completely red.
It was adorable.
He chuckled at her stuttering and he simply said, “I couldn’t resist your sweetness.”

“ — oh yes of course! ”
tohru said as she sat at the table alone, she was just thinking that some company would be really nice and here was some- one wanting to sit with her. how lovely.
“ i don’t need the whole table to myself after all! ”
“Thanks”. Kaneki replied curtly. He had just taken a small break from working at the cafe and wanted to sit somewhere and read one of his books. The tables were all full except this one. He really didn’t want to bother this girl though.
He meekly pulled up a chair and sat down, fidgeting his hands around in a nervous pattern before going through his book, page by page. Sometime he would sneak a glace at the girl who offered to share the table with him.
" Can I touch you? "
Kyo froze at the question. Before he could gather his thoughts to answer properly, he blurted out a harsh “no.”
“I mean, I guess...” He mumbled, looking around trying to control his nerves. He knew Tohru knew of their curse, and he assumed she wouldn’t hug him. But he could handle simple hand holding, right? Unless she was anticipating some other form of contact.
