There are many ways to translate 'me' from English to Vietnamese. In context, this should be an appropriate use of 'mình' since it's being used as a reflexive, but I also think Futo is the sort of person that would use the term mean 'us' (when referring to both herself and Tojiko) and then get caught off guard when Tojiko treats her like a proper romantic partner.

For context, the term is also used to refer to an intimate partner (often sexual). There's some metaphor since 'mình' used to also refer to the body (hence its use as a reflexive pronoun), so that's (probably) why there's some innuendo there.

In the modern era, it is also used by vloggers as a way to convey a casual tone when speaking to an audience, so this is is a little bit more of an old fashion reading. Perhaps fitting for someone like Futo, no?

Anyway, I'm being a little fast and loose with the language as always, so if you're more educated with Vietnamese, please forgive me for being a little bit more experimental.

TojiMiko or TojiFuto

Ooo this is hard. I like the taoists (Miko, Futo and Tojiko) as a OT3 best, but if I have to pick… I guess TojiFuto has the part where Futo disposed of Tojiko’s body, so there’s some meaty stuff to work with there, and if we go with a platonic interpretation then I think the part where the historical figures they’re based off might be mother and daughter could be really interesting too!

TojiMiko is nice too though. It’s hard to choose lol
